Diseases & Conditions

Hippocrates said, “Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.” He recognized this 2,400 years ago—without the scientific evidence we have today to support that idea.
Many of the diseases that affect people in industrialized countries today stem from poor habits, including excessive and inappropriate eating. Correcting this not only helps prevent illness but can also cure it, because it addresses the root cause. The body needs vitamins and minerals—as well as energy—to function; that’s why we eat. If we fail to provide the foods our body needs and, on top of that, give it foods that harm and inflame it, disease will eventually appear and become chronic. Below are examples of conditions that can either be completely cured with an appropriate diet or, at the very least, improve and work synergistically with medical drug treatments.
