Nutrition in sport must serve your training. Without training there’s no improvement, but if you want to get the most from each session and level up your performance, the right nutrition at the right time—plus targeted supplementation, proper hydration, an optimized fueling protocol before and during competition, and a strong mindset—is essential.

We rely on multiple energy systems and fuel sources; to be a complete athlete, you need to train them all. Just as you shouldn’t always train the same way, you shouldn’t fuel the same way every day.
